Scholarships

Having a twin sister, financially, scholarships were a necessity in our family. On my journey of finding a college that could be affordable for my family, with an English based education system, it really narrowed down my options. Luckily I came across a school called SP Jain. SP Jain gives international students a great opportunity for several reasons. Firstly, this college not only gives you scholarships based on your grades, but they emphasize the importance of your extracurricular activities. The emphasis on your extracurricular activities is due to the fact that this school is a tri-city program. SP Jain wants to see what kind of person you are and the type of leadership ability you have. Secondly, because this school is looking for diversity, it makes it easier for international students to receive a scholarship. This BBA program is global and they want their students to experience the diversity of this world.

Diversity

While attending SP Jain, I have met and befriended people from all over the world. Here’s a small example of how diversified this college is. During my second year, which is when we’re in Dubai, my roommates consisted of  a Dominican Republican, South Korean, Brazilian, and an Indian.

Although being around such diverse people brings its own challenges, as my friends and I say, we’re “getting cultured.” Not only are you learning about cultures from all around the world, through this college, I have literally made business connections from all over this world. Wherever I go, I’ll always have someone to contact and have friends to travel the world with.

Studying in SP Jain

Only a handful of colleges give you the experience of traveling the world. From Singapore, to Dubai, to Sydney, one gets to truly experience the diversity of this world through SP Jain.

Let me be completely honest here… SP Jain was presented to me during a very unstable and unclear time in my life. Long story short, one of the biggest issues I faced were financial issues. My family and I were desperately trying to find a college that would give international students scholarships that would be substantial enough for my family to support. If you’re an international student who loves to travel, you might want to try your luck at this school. As I continue to study in SP Jain, I find that the two essential needs in order to survive are;

  1. Ability to adjust
  2. Love for business

Without these, it’s hard to truly succeed in this school. In my case, I’ve never thought of studying business until SP Jain was presented to me.. and oh has it been a journey.
